In 2022, I travelled alone for the first time and embarked on a 5 day riding trip in the south of Iceland. It was nothing short of magical. I met some amazing new friends from across the world and we decided to go back again the next year for a 6 day trip. We rode across the volcanic plains of southern Iceland and through crystal blue streams alongside 60 loose horses. I was lucky enough to ride the best horse I’ve ever ridden both times, Eldur (which means fire in Icelandic), who’s pictured with me here.

Ever since that holiday, I’ve had a burning passion about travelling the world on horseback and experiencing the gorgeous views nature has to offer, framed through a pair of ears (the best way to see anything if you ask me).
